Question of the Day: Do you multitask with applications on your smartphone?

Question of the Day:  Do you multitask with applications on your smartphone?

Several mobile operating systems multitask, some more seamlessly than others.  Do you take advantage of the feature on your handheld?  If so, how?

Generally there only a few times that I intentionally run more than one program at a time on my Touch Pro.  When doing so, it is usually Hi-Calc, a more than competent calculator, paired with Adarian Money.  Switching between the two is a must at times!

Let us know your multitasking experiences!

You Might Not Place Your Phone in Front of a Train, But With Gorilla Glass You Might at Least Consider It

As you may have noted earlier today, my phone phobia revolves around turning my Touch Pro into a pancake.  However, if my phone were equipped with Gorilla Glass like the new Dell Streak, a decreased sense of panic would shiver through my body when awakening next to the gadget.  Heck, I might even place it under my pillow while sleeping as to lessen my reach to silence the ringing.

Question of the Day: Business or Pleasure?

Question of the Day:  Is Your Smartphone Business or Pleasure?

I read so many times about various smartphone users, with an exceptional amount being Blackberry owners, that have their devices provided to them by work.  I’m sure others are users who buy their phone for personal reasons, wanting the power and convenience of such a device.  Where do you fit in?

My Touch Pro, along with my other phones and gadgets, are mine.  My iPod Touch was a bonus from a job, and I use it for software testing for the job, but it’s mine… I checked.

What is your situation; is your phone business provided or for your own pleasure?  Let us know via the comments below.

Question of the Day: How do you manage your PIM data?

Question of the Day:  How do you manage your PIM data?

With today’s installment of the Developer Interview Series focusing on Pocket Informant developer Alex Kac, it seems only appropriate to go all in with Question of the Day.  So… how do you manage your PIM data?  You know, the contacts, tasks, memos and appoinments that make up your life?

For me, Pocket Informant 9 plays a huge role in managing these on my Touch Pro.  Additionally, I use Phatware’s Phatpad / Phatnotes for memos and Ilium’s eWallet for secure information.  On my Today screen, SBSH’s PocketBreeze provides a dynamic and well done hub for managing and tying it all together.
