Question of the Day:  How do you manage your PIM data?

With today’s installment of the Developer Interview Series focusing on Pocket Informant developer Alex Kac, it seems only appropriate to go all in with Question of the Day.  So… how do you manage your PIM data?  You know, the contacts, tasks, memos and appoinments that make up your life?

For me, Pocket Informant 9 plays a huge role in managing these on my Touch Pro.  Additionally, I use Phatware’s Phatpad / Phatnotes for memos and Ilium’s eWallet for secure information.  On my Today screen, SBSH’s PocketBreeze provides a dynamic and well done hub for managing and tying it all together.

SBSH presents their first app for Android, GoNews.  GoNews is a newsreader app that allows you to pull news and info from all over the internet via RSS and Full Text formats.  You even have the option to synchronize your Google Reader settings and sites.  GoNews is already available for Windows Mobile, but the Andorid version is especially great because its freeware.  Yep, I said FREE.  I know this looks to be my first app when my HTC Incredible finally arrives.  I am addicted to Google Reader, and this would be fab-u-lous.  SBSH will make the official announcement for GoNews for Android in the next few days, and they promise that even more Android Apps are on their way.

Amit and the crew over at SBSH have been busy working behind the scenes once again to introduct SBSH Historia.  Historia is a call logging program for the Blackberry that incorporates the ability to automatically logs calls to the calendar, track various details about calls including CellID and allows for advanced filtering.

SBSH Historia is available here in trial form and can be registered for only $5.95.  While this version supports Blackberry devices version 4.2 and higher, both with and without a touch screen, SBSH has announced that Historia will soon be available for both Blackberry and Windows Mobile users as well.  Stay tuned for an announcement regarding these versions as well!
