Going Green in our Mobile World.

Posted by: Peter Murphy on Aug 25 2008 - 7 views

image Most of us here at JAMM are dependant on our mobile devices, and the internet, and literally have cut ourselves off from anything that ties us to the ground, we are cloud enabled. It’s so hard though to completely go online. It is a new thing to be able to do away with paper bills, in this new environmentally friendly world.

So this post from Geek.com struck a chord with me today, I haven’t had a land line for at least eight years, why deliver me a phone book? Inevitably they keep coming! Them books be trees, you know. I’ve often wondered why this leviathan arrives on my door step when I don’t even have a service connected that would require it.

You can do without all of this extra paper consumption if you work at it.

Have a look at yellowpagesgoesgreen.org, and take a step towards helping save the world, I know you want to.
