Zune 120 - New Colors are Finally Here

JOY!!!  The new colors for the Zune120 are finally available from Zune Originals!!!  As you can see, the Zune120 is now available in Blue, as well as, Red and Black.  All I have to say is that its about time.  My dream of a hard drive blue Zune has come true.  If you check out the image to the left, I also decorated my Zune with the new Pisces artwork from the Zodiac Series.  So, Santa Bill Gates, please contact me for my address.

Sprint: But This One Goes To Eleven…In Olive Green And Rose Red!

Does anyone else remember that scene in Spinal Tap where they are showing off their amplifiers and they say, this one is better than all the others because it goes to 11.  No other features set it apart.  This one just has a dial that goes to 11, while the others go to 10.  Is 11 louder than 10?  Probably not.   The documentarian filming the episode presses the issue until he is frustrated by the repeated response, “This one goes to 11.”

That is how I feel when I see report after report of the same old phones being released with nothing more than cosmetic changes.  As if anyone is looking at the new green and red Centros and suddenly realizing how much better their phones would work if they were painted differently.

That being said, Sprint announced today that the Palm Centro will be released in Olive Green and Rode Red.  Both are expected to be available later this month for $79.99 (with a two year contract.) 

…and this one goes to 11.

More Zune Colors = Happiness

A member of the forum community at Zuneboards discovered some ’secret, unreleased’ Zune colors mentioned in the new Zune 3.0 software.  The new colors would be for the Zune 120 and Zune 16, and include blue, red, and white.  There is also mention of a choice between the black and silver device back.  All I can say is “WHOO  WHO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”  One of my major disappoints with the Zune 3.0 release was the lack of colors, especially the lack of blue for the Zune 120.  Now, none of the new colors have been confirmed by Microsoft, but let’s hope these rumors are true.  Look at the sleek red flash Zune with the black Zune pad.  I love it!!!
