I am a huge fan of poker. And I love color matching games. This strikes me as an opportunity which is ripe for a chocolate in my peanut butter moment. Fortunately, I don’t have to speculate about what the outcome of that moment might be. My good friends at Birdsoft have already done that work for me. Yes, this is the same Birdsoft which gave us the much acclaimed Extreme Agenda for Windows Mobile. Hit the jump and we can take a closer look at what happens when poker meets Bejeweled.

It should come as no surprise to anyone that one of Astraware’s first forays into the iTunes App Store is a color matching game. I have often made the point in this space that Astraware has all but mastered the color matching game, with offerings that approach the genre from every angle, and are both traditional and creative. Golden Skull falls into the latter category, with some extremely original elements to the gameplay here. Let’s take a closer look.
