Now why didn’t I think of this? Oh yeah, I did!
V12 Design has come up with a novel idea: a laptop without a keyboard. Or, if you prefer, a laptop with an adaptable input panel. The input panel shown is just your basic laptop keyboard with touchpad, but as you can see, the lower half of this innovative laptop has a touchscreen.
Brew a cup of hot tea, cuddle up with your somebody special, and pass your PDA back and forth for a marathon tournament of Bejeweled, Valentine’s day edition.
The circuit consists of a grid of 400 titanium wires crossed by 400 silicon wires, each 15 nanometers wide, with molecular switches between the junctions. It has 160 kilobits of capacity in the size of a white blood cell, the densest memory circuit ever made, at 100 gigabit per square centimeter.
France. We are from France.
The new Airis N004X Digital Audio Player is a flash-based player, which comes in 1GB and 2GB capacities, sports a 1.5" 128×128 px color screen. It has an FM tuner, supports MP3 and video playback, and even has a user-replaceable (imagine that!) battery. Oh yeah, and no wheel.. It’s quite a smart-looking little gadget, .5" thick, with some distinctive, dare I say executive, silver-and-black styling, and for prices of $89 and $102, it’s a steal. But ya gotta go to France to get it for now. Let’s hope they export to our shores.
