My local Apple Fanboy friend was showing this off yesterday, and then today I saw it reviewed over at Gear Diary, so I thought I had better tell all you iPad lovers about it. I don’t have an iPad, and even I want one of these.
This little tool is from the people at Twelve South and it’s called the Compass. Quite simply it does two things: 1). allows you to prop up your Pad for reading, and 2). converts to the proper level for typing. It is made of heavy gauge steel, so it is durable, it is candy-bar-small enough to throw in your bag and take anywhere, and it comes with a soft travel pouch of its own.
My above mentioned friend has found all kinds of other uses already for this convenient little easel. See what you can do. You can purchase one for $39.99 from Twelve South, or from most Apple Retail Store locations.
As always. if you indulge, let JAMM know what you think.

After spending the better part of the afternoon trying to overcome network connectivity issues, I can safely say that more than once my laptop, modem and router about became really expensive confetti? An overblown reaction, yes. Can technology, for all it’s wonders and helpfulness drive me “there” quicker than anything else? You bet.
Let’s hear it. Have you ever wanted to through your gadgets out the window? Or better, have you ever actually done so, ala the poor printer in “Office Space”? Hit the comments below to share your thoughts and experiences with us.
