Question of the Day: Who’s your technology idol?

Question of the Day:  Who is your technology idol?

While I’m not sure that the fundamental concept of an “idol” is good, it appears that it’s not going away.  Years ago, people’s idols used to be rock stars, movie stars and sports figures.  Today, it seems that some idolize the technologists that would have garnered a scoff 30 years ago.  For some, it’s Steve Jobs.  For others, Bill Gates, Eric Schmidt and so on.

If you have a technology idol, who?  … and to be nosy, why?  Hit the comments to share your thoughts with us!

Steve Jobs, hands down.

This doesn’t mean I have Apple stocks or that I am an Apple fan(atic).
Currently I don’t own any Apple product, but I admit he (Steve) can move masses with his ideas and products, and he has been able to die and resurrect in the past.

I will continue for a while buying other products, but I can’t resist looking to his keynotes!!
