Anyone who has ever tried to work with documents or spreadsheets on a mobile device knows the name QuickOffice.  In fact, it was one of the apps I was surprised not to find in the app store from Day 1.  I have used QuickOffice on a variety of mobile platforms, and it has always been among the best apps available.  So, I was pretty excited earlier this week to find the below announcement.  Quickoffice finally made its way to the iPad, and now I can see why they waited.  They really nailed this one, straight out of the park.  What is really cool here is that Quickoffice has not just been ported from other platforms to the iPad.  They really went all out, rebuilding the app from the ground up.  Keep reading for the full press release.
