Random Thoughts: Apple’$ Ethic$ of Censorship
Apple and it’s CEO have taken a stance, promoting the App Store for all things “i” as a censored environment. Applications that promote profanity, crudeness and adult themes are no longer available. That’s fine. It’s actually a bit admirable.
The ethics of the company comes into question though, if we look at the flip side of the store: music and movies. Why does Apple so vehemently protest applications that promote questionable themes and images while allowing music and movies with violence, nudity and adult themes?
I don’t claim to “know” the answer, but a little $peculation point$ in one direction. This is only food for thought, so to speak. Hit the comments below and share your thoughts on the topic with us.
