The HC letters in SDHC and MicroSDHC stands for “High Capacity”, and 32 Gigs start to be such!!
Finally some 32 GB MicroSDHC are facing, thanks to SanDisk that announced its new 32 GB creature, giving you the opportunity to fill your smartphone with twice your favorite songs, images and movies.
Price is not cheap, though, but $199.99 is little to pay if you are carrying with you lot of stuff AND your device of choice.
If you think you need one, visit the SanDisk Store, however be careful before hitting the “Buy” button, as your device could not support this size.
Someone willing to buy me one?

I am a huge fan of Eye-Fi, the wireless memory card, which allows you to upload your photos to the Internet, directly from your camera. Though for the last few months, I have had the same question as many of you probably had…what’s next? How do you follow up on the amazing success of the initial Eye-Fi card? The answer is to double down…on everything. The new X2 family of Eye-Fi cards, which were announced today, doubles the memory capacity, doubles the upload speed, and even doubled the number of wireless hotspots available. Read on for the full press release.
Eye-Fi <http://www.eye.fi/> Inc., makers of the world’s first wireless memory card for digital cameras, today unveiled new wireless memory cards that deliver the next generation Eye-Fi experience of the award-winning Eye-Fi Pro X2. The “X2” family of Eye-Fi cards have faster-than-ever wireless photo and video uploads, improved performance, and virtually endless storage capacity with Endless Memory mode. The new product line-up <http://www.eye.fi/products> is available today starting at $49.99.
Eye-Fi has also more than doubled its hotspot upload locations. Now, users of the Hotspot Access feature can upload photos and videos directly from their camera at any AT&T Wi-Fi location in the United States, including more than 6,500 Starbucks, and from Harborlink hotspots, including BP gas stations.
“Just in time for spring outings and summer road trips, we’re giving users the ultimate Eye-Fi experience – it’s faster and even more convenient,” said Jef Holove, CEO for Eye-Fi. “Uploading and sharing your memories with friends and family is as simple as finding a nearby Starbucks and turning on your camera. We do the rest.”
The Eye-Fi Connect X2 and Explore X2 join the Pro X2 <http://www.eye.fi/press-releases/eye-fi-unveils-next-generation-experience-and-the-worlds-most-advanced-memory-card> as Eye-Fi’s new family of products <http://www.eye.fi/products> , each with Class 6 performance, an 802.11n radio for significantly faster uploads and Endless Memory mode <http://www.eye.fi/press-releases/eye-fi-unveils-next-generation-experience-and-the-worlds-most-advanced-memory-card> . All Eye-Fi Cards are available today at retailers including Best Buy, Amazon.com, Adorama, B&H and J&R.

For a complete map of supported hotspots, please visit http://www.eye.fi/how-it-works/features/hotspot-access<http://www.eye.fi/how-it-works/features/hotspot-access> .Never Miss a Photo Opp with Eye-Fi’s “Endless Memory”
Eye-Fi’s new cards include the “Endless Memory” feature, which lets users choose to have Eye-Fi automatically makes space available on their memory card after photos and videos are safely uploaded to the computer or Web. When the card reaches the user’s pre-determined amount of space used, it will remove files that have been safely uploaded, beginning with the oldest – even when the card is not connected to a network. If files have not yet been uploaded, Eye-Fi will not remove them. This option can be set up in Eye-Fi Center.Eye-Fi Center – Easier Storing and Sharing on Multiple Sites
All Eye-Fi users can download the new Eye-Fi Center desktop application that makes organizing and sharing photos and videos easier. Eye-Fi Center has a redesigned interface that offers new features and is easy to use. Users can drag and drop photos and videos to publish them easily to multiple online locations – even including photos and videos that weren’t taken with an Eye-Fi card. Users can download the software at http://support.eye.fi/downloads.

Google and China have been “discussing” a lot lately about BigG services. What is Google going to do?
I am not going to discuss who is right and who is wrong, and limit myself to point you to a web page worth checking if you rely on Google cloud services wherever you are in the world.
It’s this new web page, made by Google to monitor access issues, and to check their services available in China.
Here is the official Google post:
A new approach to China: an update
3/22/2010 12:03:00 PM
On January 12, we announced on this blog that Google and more than twenty other U.S. companies had been the victims of a sophisticated cyber attack originating from China, and that during our investigation into these attacks we had uncovered evidence to suggest that the Gmail accounts of dozens of human rights activists connected with China were being routinely accessed by third parties, most likely via phishing scams or malware placed on their computers. We also made clear that these attacks and the surveillance they uncovered—combined with attempts over the last year to further limit free speech on the web in China including the persistent blocking of websites such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google Docs and Blogger—had led us to conclude that we could no longer continue censoring our results on Google.cn.
So earlier today we stopped censoring our search services—Google Search, Google News, and Google Images—on Google.cn. Users visiting Google.cn are now being redirected to Google.com.hk, where we are offering uncensored search in simplified Chinese, specifically designed for users in mainland China and delivered via our servers in Hong Kong. Users in Hong Kong will continue to receive their existing uncensored, traditional Chinese service, also from Google.com.hk. Due to the increased load on our Hong Kong servers and the complicated nature of these changes, users may see some slowdown in service or find some products temporarily inaccessible as we switch everything over.
Figuring out how to make good on our promise to stop censoring search on Google.cn has been hard. We want as many people in the world as possible to have access to our services, including users in mainland China, yet the Chinese government has been crystal clear throughout our discussions that self-censorship is a non-negotiable legal requirement. We believe this new approach of providing uncensored search in simplified Chinese from Google.com.hk is a sensible solution to the challenges we’ve faced—it’s entirely legal and will meaningfully increase access to information for people in China. We very much hope that the Chinese government respects our decision, though we are well aware that it could at any time block access to our services. We will therefore be carefully monitoring access issues, and have created this new web page, which we will update regularly each day, so that everyone can see which Google services are available in China.
In terms of Google’s wider business operations, we intend to continue R&D work in China and also to maintain a sales presence there, though the size of the sales team will obviously be partially dependent on the ability of mainland Chinese users to access Google.com.hk. Finally, we would like to make clear that all these decisions have been driven and implemented by our executives in the United States, and that none of our employees in China can, or should, be held responsible for them. Despite all the uncertainty and difficulties they have faced since we made our announcement in January, they have continued to focus on serving our Chinese users and customers. We are immensely proud of them.

Despite Apple’s “Functionality Duplication Policy”, since January several browsers are landed in the App Store. Now it’s Opera Mini turn.
As you may know the Opera Mini browser is a much appreciated piece of software which allows a faster web browsing experience on Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, Android and Symbian devices: the web pages are processed by Opera’s servers and are then sent to the device for fast rendering. Moreover this is a blessing as the compression of pages allows for a size smaller than the original web pages, thus saving on your data plan.
More than three hours ago Opera Software has submitted for approval Opera Mini to Apple, thus giving iPhone users the chance to use Opera Mini on their devices.
To raise some interest, Opera has also built a live page, where you can track the time since submission.
Now I am asking you, iPhone users: will you give Opera Mini a shot, if and when it will be approved?
