What will the Japanese think of next?!  This technology uses your phone’s accelerometer to figure out what you do at the office all day long, using the scheme above to collect the data.  Obviously there will be a large learning curve for the system to understand the movements.

What if this was able to be implemented in your phone?  This is not really a big deal though, as the iPhone already has an app for inhibiting the screen rotation.  However, this doesn’t appear to shut off the accelerometer, only the screen rotation.  If you use Windows Mobile it looks like all you have to do is delete a DLL file to completely disable the accelerometer.  Obviously the other alternative is not taking your phone with you when you decide to screw off.  Not that anyone reading JAMM would be one of these people, so what is the point of this software?  (wink, wink)  Do you see your boss using this kind of technology?  Check out CNET Pulse for the source and check out Geek.com for more on the KDDI Wristphone… kind of resembles a tether don’t you think?
