You may wonder how the new Windows Phone 7 Series will attract the hard gamer in you. Well, it seems 3D gaming will have a part in this.

Microsoft showed to the folks at Engadget their ASUS Windows Phone prototype with some games built with the new XNA Game Studio 4.0.
The new Studio will be unveiled this week during the Game Developers Conference at San Francisco, but you can already take a look at some screenshots of the games shown, i.e. The Harvest, a touch-controlled dungeon crawler with destructible environments, and Battle Punks, a one-on-one sword fighting Facebook game.
While the games shown are still limited in the usage of 3D, this is the clear sign that something is moving towards the right direction, and developers will be able to create great new programs with which to attract and bewitch users on the new Microsoft platform.
