SoftMaker, authors of a desktop Microsoft Office alternative that is of very high quality, has recently offered up SoftMaker Office 2010 for Linux. It is currently available as a public beta, freely available for trying out.
While my Linux machine is not hooked up right now, I can say that SoftMaker does have a history of high quality products. SoftMaker Office for Windows is very capable and their Windows Mobile line is simply awesome.
If you are a Linux guy/gal and are looking for an up to date application suite, you may want to check it out. You can find more information and download a copy of the public beta here:
This new version of our quick, reliable, and capable office suite for Linux offers significant improvements, such as:

- Imports XLSX files (Excel 2007) with highest fidelity, including password-protected ones.
- PlanMaker offers presentation-quality charts
- Flexible sidebar in SoftMaker Presentations for common formatting tasks
- Comes with a license for 3 PCs (home and business) in the box
