New To You On Android: MLB At Bat 2010

device

I have been a long time fan of the MLB At Bat App on my iPod Touch, so I was surprised and thrilled today when I found the new MLB At Bat 2010 app in the Android Market, just in time for Sprint Training…and the upcoming start of the Major League Baseball season.

This is the official app of Major League Baseball, and it packs quite a punch, even if it does not offer live video feeds.  With this app, you will find:

  • live audio feeds of every regular season and postseason game
  • live pitch tracking in every game, every day
  • realtime box scores and player stats
  • same day game highlight videos
  • news from around the league
  • stats and standings

If you are a baseball fan like me, especially one who lives outside of your favorite team’s market, then this is a real must have app.  I will admit that the $15 price tag is a bit steep, but the access it gives you to your favorite players and teams is simply unparalleled.   Now…Play Ball!
