Thankful For Electronics

This time of the year is a good time to reflect on all of the people and things in our lives that we are thankful for. I know I am thankful for my wonderful family and friends, as well as my health. Since JAMM is all about mobile tech and electronics, I thought I would ask our team members:
’What electronics/technology are they thankful for?’
Me: I am thankful for the fact that Verizon has an exciting line-up of phones with Droid, a Palm OS in the New Year, and maybe an iPhone in 6 to 8 months.
Sue: Thankful for her Touch Pro and her shiny new Dell
Doug: Thankful for netbooks and ebooks to make his journey to work in the morning so much better, as well as the fabulous new ZuneHD
Thomas: Thankful for Logitech Pure-Fi Mobile pumping out tunes for his MacBook, and to Google QuickSearchBox on the Mac and WriteRoom for helping him concentrate a little better when writing things up
Brett: Is thankful that the Nokia N900 is finally shipping, and there is a big push behind the Qt programming language to create apps that are easily portable to multiple mobile & desktop platforms
Louis: Thankful for his FLIP video camera for the convenience in writing JAMM reviews
Brian: Is thankful for the ability to carry a usable Internet with him via his new iPhone
TJ: Is thankful for the integrated circuit. Tech toys won’t be the same with vacuum tubes would they? And where would the mobility be with something like that? (Excellent point)
Chris: Is thankful for Win 7 because it got him a paying gig with a local paper, and XDA as they are keeping his fix of WM 6.5.1 flowing
So, what electronics are you thankful for?
A Happy Thanksgiving to all of our readers and their families from the JAMM Team!!!
