SCOTTEVEST Introduces New Line Aimed at the Frequent Traveler
For sure, if I had worn a product from the new SCOTTEVEST frequent flyer line, the flight company would not have lost all luggage.
Few weeks after renewing its web site, SCOTTEVEST has introduced a new line of travel clothing, with many features and pockets. Here is the press release:
SCOTTEVEST INTRODUCES NEW BRAND STRATEGY
AIMED AT THE EVERYDAY TRAVELERSCOTTEVEST, Inc. (SeV), a leading manufacturer of gadget-friendly clothing, introduces its new brand strategy geared toward the travel market – the company’s first marketing shift since its inception in 2000. The new strategy includes a redesigned Web site, (www.scottevest.com), catalog featuring SeV customers on their travel adventures and an expanded SeV Collection.
For the last decade, SCOTTEVEST has been outfitting people with comfortable, functional clothing that can carry multiple technology devices on the interior of each piece. While the products will always appeal to several communities, a recent customer photo contest to be part of the next catalog showed that most customers were those that simply loved travel. Thousands of photos poured in featuring SeV customers in various locales across the world wearing their SeV clothing, inspiring the brand reinvention.
“We have experienced massive success in the past decade, but we have discovered that we have a vibrant SeV fan club among the travelers,” said SCOTTEVEST CEO Scott Jordan. “While our clothing collection will always remain attractive to the tech lovers, we are excited to shift our marketing focus to celebrate the active travelers.”
The inspiring travel photos are being used in SeV’s new catalog, featuring real travel enthusiasts wearing their SeV clothing, as well as throughout the re-designed Web site. Further strengthening the message to travelers, SeV unveiled its new tagline “SCOTTEVEST, for the trip of your life!” which will be featured throughout the marketing campaign. With such an overwhelming interest from travelers, SeV is also adding pieces to its popular SeV Collection. Currently featuring over 25 pieces for both men and women including jackets, vests, shirts and pants, two new pieces will be added by the end of 2009.
The travel market is a perfect audience for SeV, as the clothing makes travel easier by:
- implifying airport security and saving extra baggage fees (pockets replace carry-on bags)
- Detouring pick-pockets, as valuables are hidden in interior pockets
- Providing an easy way to organize and comfortably carry all travel necessities and technology devices
All SeV clothing features a multitude of pockets and clear touch fabric, which allows wearers to see and control their iPods® and cell phones through the fabric, and SeV’s patented Personal Area Network (P.A.N.), which manages wires and earbuds. SeV is available at Magellan’s Travel Supplies, SkyMall, Travel Tools and at www.scottevest.com.
New to the collection is the Pack Windbreaker, which has 17 hidden pockets and packs into itself for ease of travel, and comes in 5 colors and sells for only $75. It can be purchased and viewed here. Photos down for the impatient.
The new Pack Windbreaker is filled with pockets and features
Among the feature I like most:
but there are many more to desire and that will fit all of your needs.
By the way, my luggage is still lost, sigh
