Windows Mobile developer Resco has just announced the release of Resco Pocket Radio 2 for Windows Mobile Professional.  The demo version of Pocket Radio version 2 is available for trial here.  It looks like the main new features in this update revolve around a more finger friendly user interface appearing in the form of a touch oriented radio station list.  Additionally, an index bar has been added to the UI, making for quick search of stations.  In addition to various bug fixes, Resco has also incorporated icons for visualization of stream quality.  Please see the full description below and be sure to check our Resco’s Pocket Radio 2 here.

New Features in Resco Pocket Radio 2.00

• Touch-friendly Radio List
  The list of radio stations has been converted into touch-optimized interface. Each musical genre includes a number in parentheses indicating how many stations belong to the category.
• Letter Bar Included
  As you select from a broad list of musical styles, the letter bar improves your navigation and saves time.
• Streaming Quality Icons
  The streaming quality is denoted by icons in three colors (weak quality=red, mid-quality=orange, good quality=green).
