What’s the dumbest thing you’ve done with your unit when you could really have used some protection for it?

Me – I threw mine at a friend thinking what I’d picked up was a flip flop………fortunately my Touch Pro was ok but boy did I panic!

I’ve dropped my iPhone off of my loft to my wife below – definitely not the smartest thing I’ve ever done!

Remember Velma from Scooby-Doo when she lost her glasses? That’s my wife…blind as a bat without ‘em…and not too long ago I tossed my iPod Touch over to her in the kitchen thinking she had her contacts in, when in fact she didn’t…fortunately, it bounced off her and landed on its back with only a tiny scratch. I didn’t get off so easy though once “Velma” caught up with me.

I let me 2 yr play a game without my supervision, he got mad at the game and whipped my phone. Luckily it was into the couch so no damage. Whew!

I am probably jinxing myself, but honestly cannot remember any goofs or near misses. I have a co-worker who once stuck his Palm in his back pocket…….. and sat down.

Not sure why I had just taken my Treo out of its case. Then I dropped it and it slid about half way down a nice concrete driveway. It survived the drop, but was all scratched up from its slide down the driveway.

I put my Psion 5mx in my back pocket and then ran for a lecture I was late for. Did I mention it was winter? With ice on the floor. I was running on ice with my prized possession in my back pocket. The sound of my taking off and literally flying before landing on my backside and hearing that crack will forever stay with me.
