Iambic Releases Agendus for Blackberry 2

Iambic has recently released version 2 of Agendus for Blackberry. Agendus is a well rounded PIM application, providing support for calendar, tasks, contacts and notes. Agendus originally appeared on the Palm OS before showing up on such platforms as Windows Mobile, Windows Mobile Smartphone, iPhone and Symbian UIQ.
Version 2 of Agendus for Blackberry provides enhancements to the tasks functionality, complete memo integration, and enhanced support for touch oriented devices. Please see below for the full press release.
- Product Summary
Agendus is a turnkey personal productivity solution for BlackBerry phones, thanks to its unique integration capability, bringing together and extending the built-in Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, and — new to version 2.0 — Memos.
The application includes a Today View, a number of enhanced Task and Calendar related Views, Compact and Expanded Contact Views and a Memo List view to make the user a competitive time manager.
Contact Linking, One Tap Dial / Email, quick item deletion, task categories, colors, grouping and filtering are all features geared towards making managing people and commitments painless. Agendus also provides over-the-air services such as integrated weather forecasts, and much more.
- Release Highlights
Among the major new features of version 2.0, users will enjoy the Calendar List View, complete Memo integration and related view. There are all new Card Views for contacts, appointments and tasks and Contact History. Advanced Sorting has been introduced in task views, completely redesigned view and preference navigators and unique “Capture-It-Now” Dialogs.
All new capabilities for touch oriented devices, such as the BlackBerry Storm, include “Panning” scrollable views, “Gestures” support in Calendar Views, and touch-sensitive toolbar.

Agendus for BlackBerry version 2.0 is available for purchase at iambic.com and through our distribution partners’ websites, at the price of $19.95.
Customers who purchased a previous version can upgrade to version 2 for $9.95. Customers who purchased Agendus for Blackberry 1.0 on or after June 1st, 2009 are eligible for a free upgrade to this new version 2.0 For details please see the upgrade page.
