Apple Pulls Developer with 900+ Apps from the iTunes App Store for Licensing Concerns

Just Another iPhone Blog is reporting that Apple has started to do something about one of the major problems that plagues the iTunes App Store.  Let’s face it:  while there are several really high quality applications available for your iPhone or iPod Touch, there are, well, um, just not too great for a variety of reasons.

Apple has ordered developer Khalid Shaikh to remove his applications from the store, all 900+ of them, making them no longer available to customers.  The article states that Apple’s reason for doing this is due to licensing concerns that the developer appears not to be obtaining.  This is definitely a respectable stance on the behalf of Apple, since they have to respond to legitimate concerns of intellectual property rights holders.

“900+ Apps” from one person?

The words, “get a life” don’t begin to cover it.
