Contest: JAMM Store!
It’s contest time again! Hurrah!
Now that you’ve all had time to get used to the new look of the site, we want to know what you think about it. Do you love it or hate it? Is there anything you miss? Is there something you want to see?
3 lucky, random winners picked by the Magic Cats will receive a $25 gift card each to the JAMM store – and you KNOW we have some good stuff in there!
The contest is open to registered users only, it’s lickety split easy to register if you haven’t done so already – just hit the login button on the homepage and click the “sign up” button.
The contest will end on Sunday, July 26th at 12pm PST!
Note: Ok, we’ve only got seven entrants, so I’m keeping the contest open until tomorrow (Monday 07/26/09). By 8pm PST tomorrow evening, I would like to see at least 10 entries to the contest! C’mon guys, register and give us your opinions on the new look of the site!
By entering this contest, you authorize Just Another Mobile Monday, and its representatives, to provide your personal information (such as, but not limited to your name and email address) to the sponsors of this contest should you be selected as a winner. Your personal information will not be sold by Just Another Mobile Monday, or otherwise retained for any purpose except that described herein.

Woo Hoo – another contest!

I like the simplicity of the site but the white/powder blue colors look a bit washed out. A little more color would brighten it up – imho.

I also like the simplicity, and the new layout of the stories on the front page looks good and clean. I don;t like the top story area that flips showing other new stories.
Keep up the good work.

I read via RSS reader, so I honestly don’t notice when sites change their formats
But the content is still great!

I really like the new interface – I like the way that it combines simplicity with a slick sensation.
It is light weight, which makes it easier to navigate with mobile devices.
the customization option (drag and drop) in the first page is really cool.

Always good stuff here at JAMM – the new look is clean & kool, I like the the ’slate’ color a lot! And of course, the content continues to completely capture my cerebral convolutions!

The site is great for mobile devices, as it does pop up rather quickly due to its light graphic-intensiveness and navigation is a breeze. However, that same simplicity makes it a bit sparse visually, IMHO, being a bit on the “cooler” side of the spectrum, more business-like in coloration. Sorry, I work with graphic designers and marketing types, so some of that rubs off on me. Having said that though, I come here for the content, not for color theory.

I like everything as is, although to other poster’s comments I guess a splash of more color could not hurt. Easy to navigate regardless of color.

I do like the current layout, one think I would like in addition is maybe tabs or navigation links to take readers to device specific content. Instead of scrolling through the contents. Otherwise, nice job!

I like the design, really top class. By far the best JAMM look – I know cos I’ve been visiting from the beginning. Congrats guys, you have now one of the best designed sites on the net!
The only gripe is the mobile version, 5 articles is too few. Maybe should have tabs as well, showing Reviews, News, etc like the main site.

You’ve really GOT it this time. I should know, I’ve been coming here since the very beginning!
The design now is just topnotch, imho one of the best on the net!
My only gripes concern the mobile version. Showing just 5 articles is too few.

i too am guilty of relying on my rss reader and don’t always check in to the site. You got me too and now i know you’ve cleaned house. The simplicity is nice and tasteful, but i come for the content which is always useful. Good job.

By the way, this comment ought not to constitute an entry, since I already entered, but thought I’d mention that, with regard to the RSS commentary on Firefox at least, I like the little JAMM icon that appears in the RSS bookmark dropdown for articles already viewed.
Carry on.

I usually keep up with the site via RSS as well. I like the design of the site, it looks great. The only thing that I do not care for is the changing articles at the top. The content of the site is what keeps bringing me back.

I know the contest is over. But I wanted to say that the design is spot on, clean and easy to navigate. I wasn’t able to register for some reason though. Not sure if that is because I am a WP user myself or what.
