Agendus for iPhone Now Available

Agendus, Iambic’s flagship PIM application, is now available for the iPhone / iPod Touch. As usual, it’s available for purchase in the iTunes App Store. You can grab your copy today for $7.99, which seems quite fair for the amount of functionality that Agendus provides.
The release of Agendus for the iPhone / iPod Touch really is great news for users wanting to achieve greater organization via their handheld. Agendus, originally a powerful all-in-one PIM replacement application for the Palm OS, has recently gained a following in the Windows Mobile and Blackberry worlds. Highly regarded for combining multiple types of PIM information, the iPhone / iPod Touch version promises to provide support for a several of your most used PIM actions. Read more about the features, present and planned, from Iambic’s product information:
Version 1.0 includes a Today View, a Task List View, a Compact and Expanded Contact Views, and facilities such as Contact Linking, One Tap Dial / Email, quick item deletion, task categories, colors, grouping and filtering, over-the-air services such as integrated weather forecasts, and much more.
A number of new features are already being implemented and will soon be available in the upcoming version 1.01, with the topmost priority being the addition of calendaring capabilities.

Knaak. Great question. Brian is getting Agendus for iPhone to review, and I have been using PI on my iPod Touch. Maybe we should do a joint comparison.

Hey Knaak,
I’ve just started experimenting with Agendus on my iPod Touch and will be putting together my notes over the next couple of days. Hope to have my full review up by Tuesday or Wednesday. As Doug said, perhaps we’ll have to do a comparison of the two, as I haven’t used PI on the Touch yet (love it on Windows Mobile though).
