iTunes App Store: How Did Those Apps Get There Anyway

If you are anything like me, then you have probably wondered, at some point or another how those apps make their way into the iTunes App Store.  Quality apps or necessary updates can take weeks to be approved, while the general garbage app may be approved almost immediately.  And don’t even get me started on apps with the word “fart” in the title.

So, what is the process to get your app listed in the app store?  I have often wondered this myself.  In fact, I was just talking with Patrick from Just Another iPhone Blog about it the other day.  Neither of us had an answer then, but fortunately, I stumbled upon this chart in PC World online, which seems to clear the whole thing up.
