Congratulations on One Million, Evernote!

Well this will be a quick one: congrats, Evernote! But I should probably say a bit more than that to make this post worth the click you just used up to get here., shouldn’t I?

I was a pretty late convert to Evernote, but it’s become one of my favourite note-taking tools. It’s surprising what you end up storing in the service, and that flexibility is what makes it so great. You create one note on one device, store it locally and on Evernote servers, and access the note from almost any internet-capable device. This lets me focus on creating content (i.e. blah blah blah) without having to worry where I’ve stored it. The free optical character recognition service is icing on the cake.
Evernote just reached 1 million users, but I don’t think two million is that far away — especially with the addition of a Blackberry client and all the integration with other online services, like Twitter.
If you’re not already on Evernote, I highly suggest you sign up for a free account. I’m not alone in this either. I’m sure I could find you 999,999 other people to back me up on this.
