SmackTalk and Unicorns: JAiB interviews Marcus Hobbs

Have you ever wondered how you can get more unicorns in you favorite iPhone app? Me either. But I can tell you who has: our good friend Patrick Jordan of Just Another iPhone Blog (well, more specifically, his young daughter.) Recently, Patrick had the chance to sit down with Marcus Hobbs, developer of SmackTalk! , who took the time to answer this (horses are underway, but no word on unicorns) and plenty of other questions. It looks like it was a fun interview and it is a great read.

Check out the full interview at JAiB.

WHAT IS … the future of mobile technology?

As a Windows Mobile user,  and after all of the recent WinMo 6.5 loving, it’s really hard to get a clear picture of where Windows  Mobile is going, or a timeframe for development. Face it, the difference between, the designer, and video producers concept is radically different to the  end user experience.

This video shows a flawless and incredibly fluid look, at what MS envisages as the integrated mobile experience of the future.

With a bevy of different non existent devices included, featuring functions specific to different fields, such as medical, and even something that looks like a Kindle DX.

We have not seen the proof of concept yet, but live in hope!

Quick Look: Solving The Mysteries of Spb Puzzle

ScreenShot2

I am a pretty big fan of jigsaw puzzles.  I love that moment when you dump out the box on the table.  The contrasting images of the picture of the box top on one hand, and the pile of broken pieces on the other, is irresistible.  As is the challenge of turning that pile of jagged edges back into the image on the box.  The problem is, now that I have three kids, it can be pretty hard to find the time or space to actually complete an entire puzzle.  So, now our rainy Saturday afternoons are spent watching SpongeBob and Thomas and Friends.  If only there were some way to watch TV with the kids, and solve jigsaw puzzle at the same time…without using up the entire kitchen table.  If only I could carry these puzzles with me everywhere I want, and pick up right where I left off.  And that is exactly the problem which Spb Software House attempts to solve with Spb Puzzle.

JAMM: Now Appearing On Your Kindle!

If you read a lot of these mobile technology websites, then my story may start to sound a bit familiar to you.  Earlier this year, when I was checking out the Amazon Kindle store, I started perusing the offerings in the blog section, and figured JAMM would fit right it.

I filled out an online form and submitted JAMM to Amazon, requesting to be included.  A week past, then a month, then several months…and I heard nothing from them.  Then, earlier this week, I received an email from Amazon stating that they had expanded the blog section.  I would need to fill out another form, which I did last night, and we were in.

Now, you can enjoy all the news that JAMM sees fit to print, along with our fantastic reviews, and more, from anywhere…anytime.
