EDIT: We’ve received some emails that the survey had stopped working. Well, it had. But its ok again, so if you couldn’t register before… try again. Sorry!
I’ve been promising it for weeks now… and here it is! Your chance to win one of the biggest prizes we’ve ever given away on JAMM – A BRAND NEW Pantech Matrix Pro! Not only that, but you’re getting a $100 service credit for AT&T!
Normally our contests are pretty easy to live with, and I didn’t really want to change the format too much, but I did want to make you work a tiny (and I mean tiny) little bit. So, keeping in the theme of “The Power To Be You”, I’m asking everyone to complete a (very) short survey that will help JAMM keep YOU happy.
CONTEST DETAILS: This contest is open from April 25 until April 29 at 5pm pst. On April 29 at 5 PM MST, I will close the contest. All those that complete the survey will be entered to Random.org to find a winner (ONE person will be chosen randomly). The Winner will be contacted on April 29 after 9 PM MST and be given 24 hours to accept the prize. We will make a congratulations post once we have a confirmed winner. ENTER THIS CONTEST BY Clicking Here to take the survey..
RULES: Sorry everyone has to have rules…

If you’re not an iPhone/iPod user, you would pretty much think meh, about apps and iTunes and the whole appstore thing. With the news this week that Apple’s App Store has eclipsed the 1Billion download mark, you would think everyone is downloading apps at an incredible rate. Incredibly though, mobile users on other platforms are less inclined to download, or just prefer a pristine device. Something I can’t imagine actually, but apparently lot’s of peeps out there are application virgins!
As surprising as it may seem, a huge percentage of mobile users, do not value add to their devices, with downloaded applications, I can’t imagine…

If you are a frequent reader of Gear Diary, you may have noticed a few problems today reading one of our favorite sites. No need to be alarmed. There is no trouble. I got an email today from Judie, the owner of Gear Diary, telling us that they are in the midst of upgrading their servers. Once they are finished, the site should be faster than ever. Until then, they may have some intermittent down time, so please be patient and bear with them. Gear diary should be up and running by the end of the weekend, if not sooner.

DomeSkin is a brand new company founded by Oten, Inc, which is the parent company of Sena Cases. Sena makes excellent leather cases for a variety of mobile devices: phones, PDAs, mp3 players, laptops, etc. So, what is DomeSkin? Well, DomeSkin designs are protective skins for mobile devices utilizing a new 3D ‘dome’ patented technology. The skins provide a unique 3D look, slim profile and enhanced device gripping which prevents slipping. We all know that mobile devices want to just fly out of your hand. Anything that helps with slipping is a big plus in my department. Also, the skins are completely re-usable, and come off your device cleanly. They are scratch-resistant, and DomeSkin throws in a lifetime warranty for the skin as long as you own the original device it was used on. Wow!!! Any company that trusts their product enough for a lifetime warranty scores points with me. The devices that currently have skins available are: iPhone 1 & 3G, iPod Touch 1 & 2 Gen, iPod Nano 3rd & 4th Gen, iPod Classic 5th & 6th Gen, and the Blackberry Curve, Storm, Pearl, and Bold. They have some amazing designs like Van Gough’s Starry Night, Football, Hearts, the Union Jack, and Skulls. So, basically there is something for everyone. Check it out, and see the full press release after the break.
The iPhone is a lot like a cigarette. Both are popular, both are frowned upon in restaurants, and you know what? I’m really only making this comparison because I think the iPWR portable charger looks so much like a lighter.
If you agree, hit the jump for the full review! Actually, just hit the jump regardless.
