I wonder at times, what the big deal is about HD on a small screen. I mean like VGA was something great and worth calling home about when some devices could support it like the Dell Axim x51v, but HD for a hand held Zune? It sounds like even though you’ll get a very clear picture, who would want to watch a movie on that tiny, itsy, bitsy screen of a music player? It had better be just as large or a bit larger than your iPod Touch. I’d love to see a bit more screen on it when compared to the Zune 120 which was 0.25 inches smaller. According to Engadget, this photo may be the potentially upcoming Zune HD.

X is a hip letter. It’s a better letter than you’ll ever be. Add the letter X to most anything and it will get better, cooler, and faster. Men become X-men. Files become X-Files. Terrestrials become Extr—ok, that one doesn’t count.
But what about iPhone stands? Surely they’re just supposed to stay on a desk and look mediocre while they hold things up.
Well, not X-actly. Just Mobile’s Xtand takes your iPhone and raises it to new heights (well, by two inches) and changes the way you look at the iPhone on your desk. Hit the pic for JAMM-tastic pics and the full review.

So Wednesday night, me, my partner, his daughter and her boyfriend went to our first baseball game of the season. Doug (our fearless leader on JAMM) laughed at my excitement over how much in love I am with the entire “doing the American thing” updates I was posting on Facebook. Yes, I shed tears when I hear the Star Spangled Banner, and I took my moment of pride and joined in and shed a tear on Wednesday night while facing the Flag as the song resounded around the stadium.
The guy sat next to us was a supporter of the rival team……I forget his name, but he was cool enough and took the ribbing we gave him and we got a picture together. We all ate hot dogs and drank beer and munched on peanuts and cotton candy (we call it candy floss in England
) and we cheered every time the rival team had a strike out, and we heckled the guy next to us every time the rival team got a batter on base.
Hit the jump, it’s a long post

I’m not sure how many folks have already seen this, and frankly its a bit off topic. Awww, who am I kidding. This is way off topic.
Time Warner has been testing out a “consumption based billing” structure for its broadband internet service in Beaumont, Texas and plans to expand the trials to San Antonio and Austin; Rochester, New York; and Greensboro, North Carolina sometime this summer.
Up to this point, bandwidth has been capped at 5-, 10-, 20-, and 40-gigabyte levels ranging from $30 to $55 per month plus $1 per gigabyte over, but a recent post from Time Warner Chief Operating Officer, Landel Hobbs, responds to some criticism and outlines plans for two additional pricing tiers.
(via CrunchGear)
The part you don’t see in this pricing scheme is that they’re looking to top out this garbage at $150 A MONTH!
Let that sink in for a second… $150 a FREAKING MONTH!
I don’t know about you folks (there’s a poll below) but I’m pretty sure if Comcast knocks on my door tomorrow and starts telling me about how they’re going to be charging me $150/mo for internet service – I know exactly where I’m going to tell them to shove it.
Hey Time Warner – Don’t bother even sending me a flyer if you come to the Denver area. I’m not interested in being taken for a ride. Scum-bags.
Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment. One thing that is self evident of late in the Windows Mobile community is the excitement about forthcoming updates to the OS. Although there is a huge amount of insecurity about whether a lot of those users will even be able to access the upgrade. There’s a device specification lower/lowest limit already defined for Windows Mobile 6.5, and Microsoft have already handballed the responsibility to the device manufacturers. That’s right in a sly move, Microsoft actually left it up to the OEM’s, mainly HTC, to alleviate the update drought!
