Google Maps for WinMo – Updated.
You know, I love using Google Maps. Quite often, I find myself heading out in the field to promote my company, or just need to find somewhere new to go fishing and Google Maps helps me find my way (doesn’t help me catch fish though!). Sometimes, I get nostalgic for the homeland.
And believe me, this isn’t a shameless promotion of the application, it’s just one of the better map apps I’ve used and can incorporate both the US and the UK into one place on my Touch Pro without too much hassle.
Anyway, they’ve updated it and fixed some issues:
An update for Google maps for Windows Mobile has been released, and one of the major fixes is that Google Latitude, which keeps track of your location and shares it with your social network now actually works in the background, which finally makes it actually useful for knowing where people are.

Oh, and that picture is my favourite lake’s boat dock
