Cor Blimey, Guv’nor – Proporta Celebrate St. George’s Day!
In the UK, each of the four countries has a Patron Saint. Ireland has St. Patrick, Wales has St. David, Scotland has St. Andrew and England has St. George.
April 23rd is St. George’s day, and to honor it Proporta has created 2 Limited Edition products:
The Aluminium Leather Lined Case for the iPhone 3G and the Leather Memory Wallet – they’ve both received a makeover and now boast a red pillar box lining in tribute to St. George
Translation: Aluminium is Aluminum here in the States. A pillar box is a mail box and looks like this;
So, some more great stuff from Proporta and an English lesson as well!

Ireland is the REPUBLIC of Ireland and does not form part of the UK, or have I missed something in my RSS feeds???
The “UK” is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland….so maybe add a Geography lesson (or even History) to that English one…

OOPS – Northern Ireland comes under British Rule – force of habit for me to say Ireland, I should have clarified that better
