Pangea releases Otto Matic: Alien Invasion for $4.99

Pangea Software, the makers of Enigmo, Cro-Mag Rally, and Billy Frontier have released their newest 3D title yesterday: Otto Matic. Humans are being abducted by the Brain Aliens and only you can save them from slavery at the hands of the Giant Brain. If it’s sounds like a B-Movie plot, that’s because the president of Pangea, Brian Greenstone, loves Sci-fi B-Movie goodness. You’ll control Otto as he saves humans across ten levels, fending off the alien swarms with each of his seven weapons.

I haven’t tried the game out, but I do know that one of their previous 3D titles, Bugdom 2, ran surprisingly well on the iPhone. Pangea is certainly showing a knack for harnessing the power of the Apple phone, but I’m still not quite convinced that I want a 3D gaming experience on something that’s not a PSP…unless it has something to do with Evil Dead.

If you’d like to give the game a shot, the App Store link is here.
