We have a lot going on here at JAMM.  In fact, several very nice packages arrived in the last couple of days.  Cameras, phones, netbooks, and more.  I thought it would be fun to take a time out to give you a taste of some of what we have coming.

Two new phones arrived this week, and they are both on operating systems which were relatively new to me. 

Sure, I have used Windows Mobile Standard (non-touch screen) before, but it never looked like it does in the HTC S740.  Thanks to my friend Clinton Fitch, I now have one of these extremely nice phones (hooked it up to a prepaid GoPhone account today) ready to review.

I also picked up a used Nokia E71 on ebay.  I had been planning to check out an S60 phone for a while, and our local Symbian guru, Rita, insists that this is the best.  So, I am really excited to start looking at it.  Rather than a straight review, I am going to team up with our newest team member, Brett, to give you the thoughts of two Windows Mobile gurus switching over to the Symbian platform.

At about the same time, two high definition video cameras arrived from DXG.  I had never heard of this company before, but so far these cameras look quite nice.  Hopefully one of these will be on its way to Thomas (aka Ragart) soon and we’ll be bringing you an in depth look at both cameras.

We’re also putting the wraps on some Sony Ericsson reviews, including Thomas’ look at the w760 and the k850. 

With some upcoming travel here, we also are going to be taking a look at some more Navigon GPS’s, which have become a JAMM favorite in the last few months. 

Finally, for those of you who have been following Brandon’s fantastic look at both the Pantech Matrix Duo and the Hewlett Packard Mini Mi netbook, the final installments of both reviews are coming soon. 

And we will also be wrapping up the Listen To This series, finishing our look at the six major players in the portable media players.

As you can see, we are pretty busy, here at JAMM, and new packages are rolling in every day.  So, keep watching this space for a practical look at all of your favorite mobile devices…and more!
