Ladies and Gentlemen…Mr. AxDroid!
I’m definitely late on this news, but better late than Windows Mobile (huh?). Instead of running Windows on platforms it wasn’t designed for, Ertan D. decided to run Google’s Android OS on his old Axim x51v…and it sorta, kinda works! He’s still lacking minor features like wi-fi and power management, but the touchscreen and buttons are mapped and working correctly. Check out Ertan’s sweet vimeo video below or visit his blog:

Points for doing something cool.
Massive negative points for annoying, horrible music that was heavily distorted while doing something cool. Totally ruined the video.
So … where do I download it?

No clue! He hasn't posted a thing. I'm assuming it'll be in that magical Windows Mobile forum land we all know of…

I'm not sure where the DL is — I'm guessing a forum far, far away

It doesn't look like it's being run natively since it's being launched from within Windows Mobile.

It doesn't look like it's being run natively, though, since it's being launched from within Windows Mobile.
