After Doug’s post on a mobile pool cleaning solution that doesn’t work too well, I thought I’d lighten the mood for the weekend. Now there have been lot’s of applications for the iPhone that replicate real world sounds, and the most popular and inane have been those that emulate some rather unsavoury bodily functions. [Phew] The fact is though, the iPhone can synthesize any sound, with the right application, and I’m surprised that it took this long for it to be done, by a commercial band. UK Band the Mentalists, rocked out on iPhone and iPod, for your viewing pleasure

So it may not do your fave Led Zeppelin title justice, but it’s just naff enough to bring a smile to your face , Enjoy your weekend, and praise God it wasn’t a Neil Diamond cover
