In a continued effort to fight A₱₱£€, Melinda Gates has banned the use of iPhones and iPods in her household.

According to Gizmodo Mrs. Gates has said:

There are very few things that are on the banned list in our household. But iPods and iPhones are two things we don’t get for our kids.

Even though she claims that the iPhone is quite the temptation:

Every now and then I look at my friends and say ’Ooh, I wouldn’t mind having that iPhone’.

Don’t give in Mrs. Gates! One bite is all it takes and A₱₱£€ (Apple) will have your life and suck you into its narcissistic ways of iEverthing with iMacs, iTunes, iBooks, and Mobile Me. Stay true to the PC (People Connected) because no one person makes it alone..it’s not about me, it’s about all of us working together and fighting tyranny.

What we put on our mobile devices should be up to us and not up to A₱₱£€$ board of reviewers which we see have no clear method for approving apps. People should have the right to put whatever they want on their own mobile device. I WANT TO PUT THIS ON MY DEVICE. BUT I CAN’T BECAUSE APPLE SAID NO! Imagine the world in such an way…where everything was controlled. Sure some may say it’s progress where there is little that can harm us – a world of few viruses and other things, but at what cost? The cost of free speech, personal expression, choice, and more. Say ’NO’ to the evil A₱₱£€. If you thought Micro$oft was bad…look at A₱₱£€…they are worse and the marketing shows – sure, you can run Windows on your Mac using VMware, Parallels, or even Boot Camp. Umm, ok..that may be true, but you [A₱₱£€] prevent standard PCs from running Mac OS X because of your stupid copy protection. Otherwise, any PC can run Mac OS X. I WANT TO PUT MAC OS X ON MY COMPUTER. BUT I CAN’T BECAUSE APPLE SAID NO! The irony and deceptiveness of such hypnosis. So, who’s worse? Both are pioneers, but one has left things open, while the other is completely closed. You decide.
