The Vagaries of Browsing the Web from Windows Mobile
Can I confide in you? No really, can I talk to you about something that’s been a quandary for me ever since I started looking at Windows Mobile devices. How do you browse the web from Windows Mobile?
I’m slightly confounded at this point, and I’d like to hear from other Windows Mobile users out there, as to how your preferred browser works. I have a few Dell Axims, x51 and x51v. Opera 8.65 works great, and MIE works great. When I got a used Tilt recently, Internet Explorer Mobile hangs every time I try to use it, even after a ROM upgrade.
So what am I using as my preferred/default browser, ???
Opera 9.5 beta, and I’m wondering if anyone else is also using it on an older device and getting away with it? Hit me up in the comments with an answer

Opera 9.5 tends to be a drag on the older device. You might wanna give Skyfire or Netfront a go

I have used many browsers in the past, and they all have their pros and cons. personally I think that netfront and opera are the best. opera has a better gui, and netfront is light weight and faster .

i actualy pretty happy with my internet on wm
i own a htc touch pro with illimeted internet!
so… its comme with opera mobile, what is actualy optimised for this phone, so run realy quick… realy responsive, but quid hard on my system
sadly no flash on that one
BUT cause I read about 1or2 hours of rss feed thru rss hub, i use skyfire as my default browser… it load fast(in 5sec) read flash really well, but the zoom feature is quite weard…there is 3or4 level of zoom, but the text dont format itself to the screen by default…
so i use opera for easy friendly web browsing, and skyfire for flash, like music or video… ie? sometimes for download

Cool responses guys, I'm not finding any lag with Opera 9.5 on the Tilt, but I'm not liking skyfire now that I have it. I haven't tried netfront on the tilt yet! Overall though I'm using clients for RSS, Facebook, Twitter and don't really open the browser unless I want to go to a link, what I'm more amased about is the combination of apps that I'm using to circumvent using MIE. Touch Pro users should wade in and talk about the Fennec beta as well! Doug, Sue, Lauren, ????
