I would like to start by saying that I was VERY good at geography when I was in grade school. I am 30 now, so its not like that it was that many years ago. However, it seems like the world has changed since the last time I had a geography quiz. Gone are Yugoslavia and the USSR, and in their place are a bunch of smaller countries that all have their own capitals. Just nuts!!! I am very happy to see that the Amazon and Nile Rivers are still right where I remember them. In the battle of Heather vs. HeroCraft Travel Genius, who is the winner???

The Android OS is a little, well actually a lot like Linux, as an open source operating system, it looks like we’ll be seeing a lot more of Android. With news this week that Android can power a netbook, we still haven’t seen any new Android phone, just a lot of speculation, lot’s of purported devices. Be they rumour, mock ups or actual drawing board devices, there is a video that encapsulates all of the recent thought’s on Android devices visually!
Whatever happens, this is a nice compilation of all of the recent conjecture on Android devices!
This looks really good for the price, and why would I bother with it, well I’ve got a TYTN II/HTC Tilt on the way. Not that I’m going to retire my Axims, but I’m finally going to be able to stop relying on cheap prepaid phones, and rid my pockets of a device. One less thing too carry is always going to enhance my mobile experience.
Now most of us wouldn’t think about the SIM cards in our phones, but they are a Data storage device as well as a connection manager. I use a 3g/HSDPA modem all of the time now, but when the modem is connected to the PC it shows up as a USB storage device, go figure.
Considering that, wouldn’t you want a way to manage the data stored on your SIM card, in a straight forward intuitive way. Well it looks like SIM Manager is the application to let you do that with ease.
If you’ve a Windows Mobile phone you’ll want to check this out!

Yes, Virginia, the screen really is that big. Almost too big to call it portable…but not quite. At 7 inches, this is by far the largest screen I have ever used on a portable device. But while size matters, largest does not always mean best. A few weeks ago, I reviewed the Archos 7’s younger sibling, the Archos 5, and found it to be nice, but less than perfect. So,how will the Archos 7 stand up to the scrutiny of this review? Will the larger screen and firmware upgrades give it the boost it needs to rise to the top of this crowded field? Let’s take a look.
