Contest: Let’s Pick Some Winners

IMG_5520.jpg

Well, here it is, Wednesday, which means time to pick a few winners and give out some great prizes.  I picked three winners today.  And they were DarkCorner, Ray, and Geocacher1.  We’ll keep the prizes pretty simple while we gear things up, but I really think our three winners are going to like their gift packs from Proporta.  This includes the Ted Baker Six pack and any other “goodies” they decide to throw in (including an Alu-Leather case for your device).

Congrats to our first winners.  If you did not win, don’t worry, we will have plenty more prizes coming.  And if you have not entered yet…well, what the heck are you waiting for?  Just hit this link and leave a comment.

Duo Review: OtterBox Defender & Impact for Touch v2

IMG_0701

Unless you’re new to JAMM or JAiB chances are you’re not new to our friends at OtterBox. Maybe you have or maybe you haven’t actually tried some of their products, but I’ve made it no secret over the past while that I’m a big fan of theirs. Without fail they are always top quality and they provide a level of protection that many other cases don’t. In my time using OtterBox cases I’ve had the pleasure and pain of dropping my stuff more times than I care to count, I’ve banged things on counters to prove how tough they are to people who ask, heck I’ve even accidentally launched my iPhone on an airborne adventure across my kitchen while talking way to much with my hands…

All of this leads up to one thing – if I’m planning on doing something that I know is going to potentially lead to unsafe times for my device, I reach for an OtterBox. Its the first and generally only case I don’t hesitate to put on my iPhone. Well, now they also have the pleasure of being my #1 choice for protecting my iPod Touch. Click on through after the break – We’re going to check out the latest OtterBox products for the iPod Touch 2nd Gen.

Palm’s ‘New’ Website

Palm has redesigned their webpage.  It focuses on their three newest products:  Centro, Treo Pro, and Treo 800W.  I must say that the new site looks very modern:  lots of photos with the smartphones in beautiful settings.  It’s as if they are getting everything ready for some big event.  Hmmm….I wonder what that could be.  The countdown to the big CES event is starting…

Sena Unveils Customizable Leather Cases at Macworld

Sena Cases revealed today that starting in early 2009, they will have fully customizable leather cases available on their website.  When I say custom, I mean everything!  You will be able to choose:  design, leather type, leather color/pattern, and add or remove other features like closure type and clip.  Plus, you get the bonus option of adding laser engraved text, a company logo, or a graphic.  WOW!!!  I hate having the same cookie cutter item that everyone else has.  I like to express myself as an individual.  Sena already had more choices than most with their excellent color selection, but now you get to design your own personal case.  They also have great quality, so this is something you need to check out.  If you happen to be at Macworld, Sena has a leather artisan on-site to demonstrate their new product.  You can read their full press release after the break.

Review: Zagg Z.buds Earphones for iPhone

IMG_0730

You’re likely all well aware already of my fondness for Zagg’s InvisibleShield product line. Well recently our friends at Zagg recently introduced a new product unlike anything they’ve done before and the real question is – have they managed to release another “must have” product, or is this just another set of headphones that cost a lot of money but don’t really deliver. Well, the only way to find out how I felt about them is to click on through!
