Windows Mobile 6.5
Which WinMo users are waiting for an update, Hmm, how does every single one of them sound. you might think I’m exaggerating, but most Windows Mobile users are actually dedicated to the operating system. Now that doesn’t indicate a whole heap of automatons, it shows a dedication to a tried and tested platform, no matter how, “you’ll probably be on a pension, before we get a useful update” to WinMo.
my friend Wayne over at Gear Diary, has seen fit to post about a version of MobileMe, wasn’t that a FAIL from the fruit company? or something similair for Windows Mobile. I suppose any cloud sync that works from WinMo would be useful. Comparing anything to MobileMe at the moment might be adverse marketing, and imagine if WinMo 6.5 includes apple like native apps, we’ll all have to buy iPhones to get over it!
Windows Mobile 6.5 reportedly will include MobileMe competitor (that works) | Gear Diary

Those screenshots were just a rumour, and a very unlikely one too. Notice the Apple "Home" and camera icons at the bottom of the left one. Microsoft certainly wouldn't be using Apple's icons.

Agreed, James. But really, this post was looking at some of the far fetched Windows Mobile rumors floating around. I don't think anyone was suggesting that those were actual screen shots.

James of course I'm not suggesting that these are the real thing, there are a bevy of Windows Mobile 6.5 rumours going around at the moment. The biggest suggests it will be announced at MWC, which is a couple of weeks away, with an all new UI. Then from Brighthand today

But there is a swathe of rumours and even video, but it still sits in the "show me the money" box for me. If you think about it, comparing any sort of cloud service that microsoft might offer as a sync, to "mobile me" is going to turn any informed mobile user off.
