I, like most of you, have seen technology deliver things that were only science fiction when we were younger, children. Considering the fact that I come from the time of black and white TV, vynil records, record players that still played at 78 rpm, a device that emulates a cartoon fantasy from my childhood, is always going to get my attention.

I don’t know how many of you would remember the cartoon series “Dick Tracy”,  but one of the things that stands out for me was his walkie talkie communicator watch. Even though we have seen versions of Phone/Watches before, LG have trumped everyone with this new, improved wrist watch phone!

I know wrist watch phones are not really new, but real features are, this I’m not sure what to call it, how about “Photch” has a 1.43 inch full touch screen, is bluetooth enabled, an MP3 player, and features text to speech capabilities.

The biggest thing here is video calling, which could only be supported by HSPDA/3G, which is all built in to the Photch. I’m blown away because it is a real sweet looking watch as well.

There are phones that don’t do what this watch? does!
