Thank You For Being Our Friends (Part II)

Posted by: dgoldring on Nov 08 2008

A few days ago, I had a chance to tell you about our fantastic sponsors, without whom much of this would not be possible.  And while I am on that subject, a big welcome back to Spb Software House, who is rejoining us as a sponsor next week.  They will be promoting the latest version of their annual Windows Mobile user survey.  Make sure you check it out in order to have your voice heard.

Anyway, while I love all of our sponsors, and truly appreciate all that they allow us to do, they are not necessarily what makes this site run on a daily basis.  That honor, my friends, goes to all of you, our readers, who have helped us edge ever closer to 3000 (yes, 3000) RSS subscribers and 1000 daily readers.

One thing we have always striven for here at JAMM is breaking down the barrier between the writing team and the readers.  We are all part of the JAMM community, and interaction between our writers and readers makes that community even stronger.  Until recently, the only way to participate in our community was by entering a contest or leaving a comment.  Good, but not great.  Really, a bit limited.  So, what else can you do to participate?

Well, the first thing you can do is join us on our Facebook page.  That offers a considerably less formal opportunity for all of us (readers and writers) to interact and discuss in more detail the issues we raise on the main site.  Along with that, you Twitter fans will be happy to know that JAMM is on Twitter, so head on over and follow us for an abbreviated look at all of the news, views, and reviews we feel are fit to print.

Of course, now that you are such an integral member of our JAMM community, you are going to want to tell your friends.  and what better way to do so than with your very own JAMM gear.  Hats, shirts, mugs, and more…they are all available at the JAMM Cafe Press Store.  Or if it is software or accessories you need, you can find it all at the JAMM software store (now carrying software for Windows Mobile, Blackberry, and Palm OS.)

So, thanks to all of you, our readers, for being such an integral part of our community.  Thanks to you, JAMM is much more than just a website, but a mobile community.  Read all about your favorite gadgets, software, and accessories right here on the site.  And then head over to our Twitter feed and Facebook page, where the discussion continues.  Thank you for being our friend, in all of the various contexts and formats we offer.  And we look forwarding to continuing to bring you a practical look at mobile life.
