Notice I didn’t jump on the NetBook bandwagon like the rest of my fellow writers 

First off let me say there was absolutely nothing wrong with my current MacBook and this (for once) wasn’t just me running out and buying the latest and greatest because I had to have it.

Long story short is my step-dad is going to be helping me out to learn how to program and they decided to pick up a new MacBook for themselves. Since they needed some business expenses for tax purposes and I’ll be working with them … I scored and they bought a second one for me!

My old (not that old) MacBook will be heading out the door soon as I have the time to sell it (and I’ll be giving that money to my folks), but for now I though you might want to see some shots of the new one and the old one.

The stickers on my old MacBook are on top of an InvisibleShield, so no, I didn’t destroy a perfectly good MacBook. Click on through for some pics!

First off, if you have seen the box for the older style MacBook … the size of the new one is going to blow your mind. Small doesn’t even begin to explain it.

Specs … yes I know I need to ad some RAM because 2GB is not going to be enough.

Pretty. That’s all I can say.

Simple, No?

I can’t begin to explain how sleek this is. I love my BlackBook … but this new MacBook is just gorgeous.

Alright … that’s all for now. I’ll maybe show it off a bit more later – but I’ve got a Time Machine restore to do and a Vista install to do. Yes … I’m loading Vista on it – BUT ONLY so I can play Counter-Strike Source on it. CrossOver Games worked ok – but the frame rates just weren’t good. So I’m going to try it natively and see how it does.
