Well, Sony Ericsson must have done something right, because Brandon Miniman of pocketnow.com gave the Xperia X1 4 1/2 circley things out of 5 circley things. That’s a half circley thing away from perfect! Here’s a tidbit from the article:

This is the best Windows Mobile device that has ever passed my desk. Period. Sony Ericsson was right by declaring it a "game changer" – this has raised the bar, and if the Panel interface takes off and we see a lot of neat Panels, the X1 could become a benchmark mobile device.

The review is filled with loads of pics and had me positively drooling at the sight of SE’s premium Windows Mobile device. This thing is hawt. One of the biggest surprises for me, however, was to see that the panel interface isn’t just a gimmick. It looks like it really works out and makes WM a much cooler experien—err Xperia for it.
