Google patches Android security flaw!
Posted by: Peter Murphy on Nov 02 2008This may not be really big news, but it is an example of what Google do really well. Over The Air/Cloud computing is probably the next big thing, correction, really big thing. It’s what Google do really well. It’s great to see that it translates to the G1 and Android as well.
Google pushes Android updates/patches direct to your handset. Maybe Google’s command of the intertubes, will give the Android OS an advantage in the mobile OS wars? The only reason this makes sense to me, is that WinMo includes an update function, but there are no updates to be had!
