Want That New HTC Touch HD?? get Your Wallet Out!

image My good friend, Tariq, over at My Today Screen, has unearthed some pricing information for the new HTC Touch HD, and other new HTC phones.

While the Touch 3G and Touch Viva come in at a relatively reasonable 499 EU and 279 EU respectively (that would be $699 for the 3G and $390 for the Touch), you may need to take out a second mortgage if you have been eyeballing that Touch HD.  Our European cousins will be forking over a whopping 849 EU for this phone, which is over $1200 here in the US.  Of course, since it is not yet available in the United States, you will also need to think about overseas shipping and import duties on top of that whopping price tag.  Or, you can just hope that a US carrier picks it up and offers subsidized pricing.

It doesn’t look like anyone here at JAMM has one of these high end devices in the pipeline (too bad) but if any readers manager to get their grubby little paws on one, let us know what you think.  Is it worth that enormous price tag?
