I tend to go back and forth between Resco and Sprite and have never had a problem uninstalling Sprite (WM5, 6 and 6.1). My current backup (with Sprite) is about 56 megs and takes about 15 minutes from the start of the first reset until the end of the final reset. I do this in the wee hours of the morning so the time does not matter to me.

When I first upgraded to 6.1 all I "saw" was the icon for the quick backup. I thought "Holy cow, I got some version without scheduled backups?" Somehow I stumbled upon the other icons.

Peter, is this what you're looking for in regards to a .cab file?
http://www.spritesoftware.com/products/download.php?pid=191

As for backup times, I assume that it depends a lot on how many applications you've installed to your device storage, and how many files you've saved on your device. But I think that a few minutes is also the time takes for me. (I normally don't do backups during the day, I've got a scheduled backup at 5AM)

Often when my device really crashes and a hard reset is inevitable I decide to rebuild my device, but still then I can take the PIM data and some files from My Documents from the backup and restore those. I'm glad to have Sprite Backup on my device. :)
