Meet Sony’s new NAV-U lineup!
Posted by: Ragart on Aug 27 2008
Sony has just unveiled the NV-U44 ($250), NV-U74 ($300), and NV-U84 ($350) navigation systems. These bad boys don’t just offer improved Point of Interest GPS navigation. That would be boring. Higher tier models also offer photo viewing and search functionality, too! Just in case you wanted to show off your vacation pics (on your Mem Stick Pro Duo) to guests before driving them to the Steakhouse (Turn left here). All models feature a touch-screen and POSITION plus, which help you navigate in areas without a signal by tracking your movement and comparing it to your last solid GPS location.

If that’s not enough for you, the super duper model, NV-U94T ($400), isn’t even really a GPS system anymore. It handles music non-DRM AAC and mp3’s on your Mem Stick, as well as a2dp, hands-free, and a big ol’ 4.8 inch screen. It’s like the Soby’s of GPS systems, except they changed the ‘b’ to an ‘n’. And it’s not a supermarket.
