Review: JavoEdge Stereo Male to Male Cable for HTC
Have you ever sat there staring at your HTC device and your speakers thinking, there simply must be an easy way to get the sounds from this phone into those speakers? Yeah, I thought so. I’ve been there. It is a difficult situation. Fortunately, JavoEdge has an answer.
They have devised a small cable which can connect to that annoying 11-pin jack on your HTC phone (why HTC doesn’t just include a standard headphone jack is beyond me), and then into an 3.5 mm audio input jack. Nice!
The cable itself is coiled, which means it requires little space, but can quickly be stretched to meet any needs.
Now, I will admit that I have had this cable for some time before I had the opportunity to review it. The truth is, when I asked for the opportunity to take a look, I had a speaker which utilized 3.5 mm plugs. Before I received the cable, however, that speaker died on me. I spent half a week tearing through every speaker I owned looking for something I could use to test this cable. Finally, I received the EOS wireless speakers, which included a 3.5 mm audio input jack.
I used this cable to test the EOS speaker system on Gear Diary. It worked flawlessly. I was extremely impressed by the quality of music it delivered. There was virtually no distortion or other problems which might commonly be associated with cheaper cables or poor quality connections.
One thing I have found with many devices, it is typically the little details which go unnoticed until you need them. Then, you are left scurrying for a solution which may or may not even exist. With JavoEdge, the solution to your problems is just a click away.
