Nokia, Maps and Rumours …

Posted by: Peter Murphy on Aug 20 2008

The Lonely Planet series of travel books have been top sellers for yonks, accessing them from a mobile device, not via an e-reader app, is a leap forward.

In an effort to help travellers everywhere, Nokia and Lonely Planet have teamed up to distribute Lonely Planet content via Nokia Maps.  Travellers can purchase and download the city guides so that they have information at their fingertips whilst they are on the road.

and BGR are showing off some images of what is supposed to be the new Nokia N 76,

SweetNokkya79

Very nice looking candy bar,the N79. It’s faintly similar to the N82, and supposedly has a 2.4 inch QVGA screen, and a 5-megapixel camera beneath with flash. BGR suggests we may learn more on Monday, from Nokia itself.
