On my iPhone: Moleskine for iPhone becomes Moleskinery(+)

Pretty near the top of the list of most used applications on my V1 iPhone was a jailbreak app from databinge called moleskine. Moleskine has been heavily covered and favored on JAiB and I figure while there’s not much sense in covering all the details again, but I wanted to let you know you can plan on a review coming up on this one. I’ve just ponied up my $12.99 for the (+) version of moleskinery and so far I can honestly say I’m glad I did… this is one of those familiar faces from the jailbreak community that I’m happy to see back on my homescreen.

Anyway, initial thoughts are this:

Great looking icons. Could use a few more choices but for a starting point they are really good

Clean, easy to use and understand interface

Photo notes are really easy, text entry is MUCH improved over the jailbreak version which tended to switch out of editing too easy

A little crashy. Don’t try to change icons repeatedly in quick succession. It will crash. But it saves all your data so nothing is lost. Had 3 crashes so far and they were all while changing icons or details.

Email of notes is nice. Emailing with attachments (photos or voice) not there. Really needs a way to do a full backup of all notes.
